Protection of Information
TimePlus® uses care to protect your clients personally identifiable information. TimePlus® has implemented physical and electronic safeguards intended to prevent unauthorized access to client information. We continually assess new technology to improve or update our information security systems. However, no transmission over the internet via e-mail can be guaranteed to be one hundred percent secure until it reaches TimePlus®. Once Timeplus® receives your electronic transmission or other information, we follow strict procedures to ensure its security and confidentiality. TimePlus® employees are advised that client information is confidential and that they are bound by internal policies and procedures to not divulge client information without proper approval. Disciplinary action for failure to follow our policies and procedures could include termination of the employee.
Licensee’s using the CheckConnect® service will be issued a private password or PIN and are required to change it periodically to access their account. The licensee is ultimately responsible for protecting the secrecy of any such access code.
TimePlus® does not sell, license, or otherwise disclose your information except as described in this policy.
Sharing of Information
TimePlus® reserves the right to share client information with any company that it owns or controls, or with which there is a common ownership with a parent company if the information is required to provide a product or service you have requested or to provide you an opportunity to utilize products or services offered by such other companies. TimePlus® may, also, share client information with non-affiliated third parties that perform services in connection with the servicing or processing of products or services that TimePlus® provides. Information will be shared with such companies to support your relationship with and services provided through TimePlus®. TimePlus® will make certain that any such third parties that perform services, in connection with servicing or processing of products or services that TimePlus® provides, are contractually bound to keep information provided to them confidential, and to only use the information for the purposes of providing the services TimePlus® has requested they provide. Examples of such third party companies that might provide such services include banks and payment processing centers.
TimePlus® may, also, disclose information in cases where it has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect or defend TimePlus®'s rights or property; or (c) enforce TimePlus®'s web site terms and conditions of use.
Further, TimePlus® may share information with third party entities for services the client has requested.
